At Profix, we prioritize your rights and responsibilities. Our Terms & Conditions outline the framework for our services, ensuring clarity and mutual respect in our interactions.
These Terms and Conditions (“T&Cs”) outline the rules and guidelines governing your use of the services provided by PROFIX Home Service (“we,” “our,” or “us”). By engaging with us in any capacity, you (“customer” or “you”) agree to the terms set forth below.
1. Scope of Service
- AC duct cleaning includes cleaning of ducts, vents, and related air pathways using industry-approved methods (vacuuming, brushing, and specialized equipment).
- Installation of IQAir HEPA HVAC filters is limited to compatible systems. Compatibility assessment will be carried out before installation.
- Any additional services outside the agreed scope (e.g., repair, replacement of ductwork, or HVAC servicing) will be treated as separate chargeable services.
2. Service Frequency & Recommendations
- We recommend duct cleaning every 1–2 years, depending on environmental factors, system usage, and health considerations.
- Visible dust, mold growth, foul odors, or reduced system efficiency are indicators that cleaning may be required sooner.
- Customers are encouraged to replace or clean filters in accordance with manufacturer guidelines to maintain optimal performance.
3. Customer Responsibilities
- Ensure safe and unhindered access to ducts, HVAC systems, and installation areas at the scheduled service time.
- Remove fragile, valuable, or personal items from service areas to prevent accidental damage.
- Notify us of any pre-existing issues such as water leakage, damaged ducts, or electrical faults prior to service.
4. Health & Safety
- Our team follows strict safety precautions to prevent the release of contaminants during cleaning.
- Customers should keep children, pets, and vulnerable individuals away from service areas while work is in progress.
- We are not liable for health issues arising from pre-existing mold, bacterial contamination, or poor HVAC maintenance.
5. Limitations & Exclusions
- The following are excluded from standard duct cleaning and filter services unless specifically agreed upon in writing:
- Waterproofing repairs, duct replacements, or HVAC system overhauls.
- Electrical or mechanical faults in the HVAC system.
- Structural repairs, insulation replacement, or civil works.
- Warranty coverage for third-party equipment or previously serviced systems not handled by us.
6. Product-Specific Terms – IQAir HEPA HVAC Filters
- Filters are warranted against manufacturing defects only, as per manufacturer terms.
- Lifespan of filters may vary depending on usage and environmental conditions. No guarantee is provided beyond the manufacturer’s stated performance.
- Filters must be installed by trained professionals to maintain warranty validity.
- Customers are responsible for timely replacement of filters to maintain system performance and indoor air quality.
7. Payment Terms
- Full payment is due before or at the time of service completion.
- Accepted payment methods include Visa, MasterCard, online transfer, or cash.
- Non-payment may result in service suspension until settlement.
- All transactions are processed in AED (United Arab Emirates Dirham) unless otherwise agreed.
8. Liability & Warranty Disclaimer
- While duct cleaning improves air quality and efficiency, results may vary depending on system age, condition, and environmental factors.
- We do not guarantee elimination of all dust, mold, or odors, as factors outside ductwork may also contribute.
- IQAir HEPA filters are subject to manufacturer warranties only; we are not responsible for performance beyond stated specifications.
- Our liability is limited to the cost of services rendered and shall not extend to consequential damages, loss of use, or health-related claims.
9. Cancellations & Rescheduling
- Appointments canceled less than 48 hours before scheduled service may be subject to cancellation fees.
- Customers may reschedule once within a 4-week window based on availability.
- Missed appointments without prior notice will be considered billable.
10. Governing Law
- These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of the United Arab Emirates.
- Any disputes arising shall be resolved in accordance with UAE jurisdiction.
